I mean also in fps games playing 1440p isn’t ideal , the performance hit with 1.7x more pixels , larger screen causing more eye movement , and other disadvantages with an OLED on top of oled burn in (which is small chance of happening). It might seem like I’m a zowie fanboy praising their TN panel lineup but it all really depends what you need a monitor for. If you play a lot of fps games like cs/val/r6/ow2 etc then it’s really hard to choose an OLED but don’t get me wrong the colors on an OLED are truly amazing and it’s a nice consideration for games outside of fps. if you like fps games I’d recommend the xl2566k as it’s 400 less than the 540hz model and their isn’t really a game you can play with 1% lows over 540hz besides maybe valorant.

Maybe is a dump question but for the settings you recommend for better color accuracy, you use only the panel settings with the bottom joystick or you need something more like a software or something??? Thanks in advance and great review as always.

Let's be real noone watches monitor from side. In case of TV you can take that point but not when you are using pc monitor. Monitor is always in front of us nearly at 90 degrees when we use PC, at most it could be upto 60 degrees when one uses multiple displays. That's the reason why VA panel is better than IPS at it has higher contrast ratio, in today's date it normally comes in 3000:1 contrast ratio.

My first experience in Full HD (1920x1080), coming from a 19" HD monitor (1280x720), was with a 27" LG television that I bought second-hand and that had an HDMI port. Nothing to see the difference in details was enormous. I have always liked the design and image in general so after 5 years with the LG television, I thought it was time to increase the vision quality. I was thinking of a larger monitor than the old but reliable TV. LG, my PC was not suitable for viewing 4k/UHD (3840x2160), multiplying the number of pixels of a Full HD by four. If I wanted a 4K monitor I would have to invest in a new computer (PC) because most of its components were somewhat outdated, only a Display port output from my graphics card for QHD monitors (2560x1440) was useful, multiplying the pixels of the monitor by 1.7. Full HD. I opted for a refurbished 32" 16:9 aspect, flat screen monitor, LG 32QK500, it is from 2018 and is no longer available in stores. I do not use it for games but for design and office automation, use of maps, etc. The difference compared to the FHD is brutal, clarity, sharpness, colors, ability to see spreadsheets at a glance, I made a good choice, even today after 4 years I am very satisfied with the performance. It is possible that the next monitor will be 4k. , but I can't put any objection to the current one.

I have this monitor and 3070ti and its actually great but i want to hit 200+ frames in alot of the FPS i play. I dont have 4090 money but would like to upgrade my GPU. Hard to find 4070ti super benchmarks with 3440

7.5 hours a week is a joke, we have to be honest. We can all agree, vast majority of people who end up researching monitors and go into the nitty gritty of oled burn in are not playing 7.5 hours a week... you could triple that and even then we'd be at the minimum.

Ive been waiting for mini led for a while. It is very close. I purchased the hisense 100u8k and its pretty amazing for a 100” tv. Thought not a monitor the 144hz refresh and using it as a monitor in the man cave room with pc in use is really fun. It doesn’t have any blooming. Im very impressed with the local dimmer zones of it and the color accuracy after testing with a i1 pro spectrometer. Its been a fun toy to have.

Love AOC, they great monitors.

In short, you cannot overclock a monitor by any noticable amount.

The issue is that the graphics cards that can push 540hz - 1080p are not optimized for that resolution and you get bottlenecks on the card/cpu running at that resolution.... They are made for higher quality throughput/output ... So you are really doing a disservice to the graphics card/cpu when you push that resolution on a 4090 for instance.
